We pick you up from the meeting point and drive you to the olive oil production mill. After traveling through endless olive groves, we arrive at the mill. From there, we explore the privately owned groves and learn all there is to know about the holy tree.
The inside of the mill is the next stage, where the fruits are put in order to make olive oil. Our experience culminates in tasting a unique variety of products, such as extra virgin olive oil on fresh bread, olive pâté, sweets, and traditional olive liqueur. We also learn all about the steps involved in turning olive fruits into pure olive oil. Following that, we will sample pure olive oil and other meals made with olive oil, such as sweet or salty foods.
The half-day journey continues to the ancient Epidaurus, where we will see the ancient theater, one of Greece's most well-known archaeological sites. Since Asklepieion served as the primary location for the treatment of serious illnesses in ancient Greece, a number of structures, including the Asklepios Temple and others, were built in its vicinity.
