We will pick you up from Naxos town or other location.
You may experience what Naxos residents actually do in their daily lives and learn how the famed Naxian cheeses are manufactured at a little cheese farm tucked away in the heart of mainland Naxos. In addition you will have the opportunity to feed the animals of the farm.
If you're a fan of delicious cheese, then you'll love this workshop where you will learn how to make Naxos cheese named “Arseniko”. You'll also have the opportunity to learn about the history of cheese making on the island, and taste some of the farm's delicious products.
You will be able to savor a variety of regional treats created with farm-fresh ingredients and local treasures, drink local wine , learn about local life , greek tradition and share life stories with the farm owners.
The next stop is a stunning, family-run vineyard where the owner will greet you, walk you around his beloved vines, and inform you about local wines and traditional vs. modern wine making techniques during the 30-minute vineyard tour.
At the end of your private tour, you will taste delicious local wines. The winemaker will next lead you through a private tasting of 5 distinctive regional wines, along with more Naxian cheese, including the renowned "graviera," as he shares his love and extensive expertise with you.
