Starting at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at noon, take a guided walk through a truffle-rich section of hilly Naxos, led by a truffle specialist and his specially trained dog.
You'll discover more about the world's most valuable mushroom and the trees it hides behind along the way.
Later that evening, at 19:00 p.m., join us in our restaurant for a unique sampling experience with a glass of wine.

Unearthing Culinary Treasures: Naxos Truffle Hunting Itinerary
9:00 a.m. - Meeting
The meeting place will be selected by previous agreement, based on the attendees' lodging location.
On a track with truffle hunters and a trained dog, we walk and seek for truffles. Speaking about precious mushrooms. The journey includes an English-speaking guide who also gives island information. A small bottle of bottled water (500 mL) and a snack are given.
12:00pm - Excursion concludes
Back to the meeting place.
Meeting at Nissaki Restaurant for supper and sampling that uncommon meal complemented by Naxian items and Naxian wine at 19:00pm. Each participant receives a free bottle of truffle oil as a gift.

- Wear adequate attire while wandering in the woods and dress for the weather throughout the day.
- Notify employees when booking and before tasting if you have an intolerance or allergy.
- To maintain the fungus active, the quantity of truffles detected should not exceed two to three pieces.
